Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 September 2026
This policy explains what Royalty Group LLC, doing business as Worth Bidding, collects when you use worthbidding.com or subscribe to the digest, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
The short version. We collect your email address and a business profile so we can decide which bid notices to send you, plus the billing details Stripe needs to charge you. We do not sell your data, we do not track whether you open our emails, and the website sets no tracking cookies today. You can unsubscribe from any digest footer and ask us to delete everything by emailing support@worthbidding.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Email address — the address the digest is sent to, and how we reach you about billing.
- Business profile — the states you serve, whether you work nationwide, the categories of work you do, any certifications you hold (for example small-business or service-disabled-veteran-owned status), your bonding ceiling, and the minimum and maximum contract values you can staff. This exists solely to filter and score notices for you.
- Anything you send us — if you reply to a digest or email support, we keep that correspondence so we can answer it.
Information created by your subscription
- Subscription state — plan tier, trial and renewal dates, subscription status, and whether you have unsubscribed.
- Send records — the date of each digest we sent you, how many notices it contained, and the delivery provider's message identifier, so we can investigate a missing email.
Payment information
Card details go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored on our systems. We hold only the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe gives us, and whatever Stripe shows us about a payment's status. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
What we deliberately do not do
- We do not use open-tracking pixels or click-tracking links in digests, so we do not know whether or when you read one.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies as of the date above.
Why we use it
| Purpose | What it uses |
|---|---|
| Building and sending your digest | Email address, business profile |
| Taking payment and managing your plan | Stripe identifiers, subscription state |
| Support and billing questions | Correspondence, send records |
| Honouring unsubscribes and legal duties | Email address, unsubscribe status |
| Fixing faults and preventing abuse | Server and delivery logs |
Who processes it
We keep the list of vendors deliberately short. Each is a processor acting on our instructions, not an independent recipient of your data.
| Vendor | Role |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and subscription billing |
| Supabase | Database hosting for subscriber records |
| Resend | Digest email delivery |
| Vercel | Website hosting and DNS |
| GitHub | Runs the scheduled job that builds and sends digests |
| Google Workspace | Our support mailbox |
We also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to a buyer if the business is sold — in which case we would tell you first.
Advertising measurement
We are not running advertising as of the date at the top of this page. If and when we advertise, we expect to use Google Ads conversion measurement, which would set cookies on this site to record that a visit followed an ad. We will update this policy and the date above before that goes live, and the description here will always reflect what is actually running.
Email you receive from us
The digest is the product, so subscribers receive it as part of the service rather than as marketing. Every digest carries a one-click unsubscribe link in its footer and the one-click headers Gmail and Yahoo require. Unsubscribing stops the digests immediately. We may still email you about billing — a failed payment or a cancellation confirmation — because those relate to your account rather than to marketing.
How long we keep it
- Active subscribers — for as long as the subscription is active.
- After you cancel or unsubscribe — up to 24 months, so we can answer a billing question or restore your profile if you return. Ask us and we will delete it sooner.
- Payment and tax records — as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years. These live with Stripe and in our accounting records.
- Unsubscribe records — kept indefinitely, because the only reliable way to honour an opt-out is to remember it.
Security
Data is held in managed, access-controlled services. Connections to the site and to our database are encrypted in transit, credentials are held in secret stores rather than in code, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.
Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email support@worthbidding.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you worse for exercising any of these rights.
California residents
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. The categories we collect are identifiers (your email address) and commercial information (your business profile and subscription record). You may use an authorised agent to make a request.
UK and EU residents
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, our lawful bases are performance of a contract (sending the digest you subscribed to and billing for it), legal obligation (tax records and honouring opt-outs), and legitimate interests (keeping the service running and secure). You also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and we will email subscribers before any change that materially affects how we handle their information.
